I just finished two new baby hats! The first is a baby bonnet very similar to the last one I made (here). The second one is a little sailor hat. Here are some photos!
I made this one more or less like the previous one, except it's a little deeper, ans I used moss stitch and stockinette and no eyelets. I also added the frilly brim.
To make a frilly brim you just have to multiply by three the number of stitches you need, knit until desired number of rows, and then * slip one, k2tog, psso* for one row, and voilà!
And now the little sailor hat!
Here is a very similar sailor hat I made last winter, along with a matching sweater.
